-- Dr. Brian Liljenquist, Professional Consultant at WELS Care, LLC, received the prestigious ‘Excellence in Healthcare Award’ at the Health 2.0 Conference. Held from March 4–6, 2025, at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, the event spotlighted healthcare leaders whose innovations help patients. The award recognized Dr. Liljenquist’s improving [MB1] of healthcare access, coordination, and outcomes.
Dr. Liljenquist has over 11 years of experience leading healthcare teams in solving problems for at-risk populations. He has earned several honors, including the “2021 Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries Award” and a feature in IFAH Top 100 Magazine.
At WELS Care, Dr. Liljenquist leads community-based wound clinics and programs to increase access to care for vulnerable patients. His teams heal [MB2] and ameliorate wounds throughout the United States. Partnering with care practitioners licensed to practice in the various states, he has launched his programs in seven states and will soon expand them into two more states.
The WELS Care model analyzes data to design healing strategies for patients with complex, chronic, or postoperative wounds. The model improves outcomes by combining education, early intervention, advanced therapies, and disease amelioration. It emphasizes coordinated care to reduce complications and shorten recovery.
Through partnerships with leading organizations in post-acute and chronic disease care, WELS Care reduces and eliminates suffering for patients. Its patients report better healing and quality of life through consistent, focused treatment.
