-- The Donum charitable initiative, founded by private investor Alexey Bashkirov, has opened applications for its annual scholarship program supporting medical residents specializing in anesthesiology and intensive care. Applications are now being accepted through the official website until the end of summer 2025. Scholarship recipients will be announced in September 2025.
Created to support early-career medical professionals, the Donum program is designed for first- and second-year residents who show strong professional motivation, a commitment to growth, and a passion for the field of medicine.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an anesthesiology and intensive care residency program. To apply, candidates should register at donum.pro and submit a motivational essay, a short video introduction, and documents confirming their residency status. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experienced physicians and educators, with final selections made by the Donum Board of Trustees.
Scholarship winners will receive ongoing financial support throughout the 2025 academic year, designed to help them focus on their professional development without added financial pressure.
