-- Diane Nussbaum, Executive Pastry Chef & Owner of Diane's Patisserie, has been awarded the "Visionaries Award" at the CXO 2.0 Conference, hosted from March 4–6, 2025, at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, USA. Diane's Patisserie started as a humble home kitchen hobby in 1981, supplying local restaurants in the Philadelphia and Cherry Hill areas. Within a year, Diane expanded by renting space in a restaurant kitchen. Her growth continued when she acquired an established bakery, La Patisserie Francaise, in Haddonfield, NJ. By 2001, the bakery had moved to a larger location to accommodate its growing operations.
However, in 2006, Diane chose to downsize, relocating to an industrial park where she focused on baking exclusively for caterers and hotels. It was then that she renamed her business to Diane's Patisserie. The shift in business model continued post-pandemic in 2020 when she began offering retail cakes alongside her wholesale wedding and special occasion cakes. Over the years, Diane's Patisserie has earned numerous accolades, including Best Wedding Cakes and The Best of Philly awards.
Upon receiving the prestigious accolade at the CXO 2.0 Conference, Diane Nussbaum shared her heartfelt emotions and reflected on her journey. She stated, “My love of baking and being creative made my journey for the last 44 years worth all the long hours and hectic schedule so rewarding. I have always had amazing staff members who shared my vision, Avery patient family, and together we made it happen. I appreciate this recognition so much. I always learn something at a setting like this, but mostly I really enjoyed meeting people from other industries.”
