The British brand introduces a product blending extracts of 16 Mediterranean fruits, vegetables, and herbs, supported by studies at King's College London and the University of Exeter, and a set of international patents covering the colour nutrients found in the Mediterranean diet.

-- DailyColours, a British supplement brand, has launched a product that combines extracts of 16 Mediterranean fruits, vegetables, and herbs in a single daily supplement. The company states the formula delivers more than 160 colour phytonutrients across red, blue-purple, green and orange-yellow plant groups, and places it within a category it calls colour nutrition.

The idea rests on a straightforward premise: the pigments in plants are themselves nutrients. Carrots carry the orange pigment beta carotene, tomatoes carry red lycopene, and berries carry nutrients like resveratrol in their deep blue-purple tones. DailyColours’ research links these pigments to many of the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet, one of the most studied patterns of eating associated with long-term health.

The company says few people eat a wide range of colourful plant foods each day. It presents the supplement as a way to narrow the distance between what the Mediterranean diet offers and what modern routines often allow.

DailyColours says its launch follows four years of research, including a pilot study at King's College London and a randomised, placebo-controlled trial at the University of Exeter involving 150 adults aged 50 and over. According to research reports, participants recorded significant gains in cognitive performance and physical fitness, alongside changes in immune and inflammation markers. The trial summary states that "DailyColours supplementation mimics many of the Mediterranean Diet effects."

Findings linked to the product were presented during 2025 at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference in Toronto, the International Congress of Nutrition in Paris, and the Phytochemicals and Health Symposium in Exeter.

The company says it has secured multiple international patents tied to its finding that the four plant colour groups produce a stronger age-related health effect together than any single group alone. The patent record describes the discovery as "the biochemical basis for the health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet."

The brand frames its work around health span rather than lifespan alone. DailyColours is sold online only. DailyColours also works with the National Centre for Integrative Medicine.
