-- The dice hit the board, but the real decision comes next. A player may advance toward the center, change direction, block an opponent, prepare a breach, or position an avatar for a decisive final step. In Siege The Game, each turn can change the situation on the battlefield. Created by Julian Hughes “Fuggy Sevant” Rowland and developed through the creative ecosystem of Cosmic Patriot Studios, MBC, the original tabletop strategy game centers on movement, tactical choices, changing pathways, and the race to reach the Courtyard.

Cosmic Patriot Studios has announced a new public information and support page for Siege The Game, providing prospective players, supporters, and others interested in the project with a central place to learn about its development. The page is intended to introduce the game while supporting continued development, production preparation, campaign materials, mobile coordination, and future expansion planning.
An 8 By 8 Battlefield With One Central Goal
Siege The Game is built around a straightforward objective. Players navigate an 8 by 8 battlefield, breach castle keeps, control pathways, use Siege bricks, capture opponents, and ultimately reach the Courtyard at the center of the board.
Each player begins from one of the four corners. The Courtyard sits in the middle, protected by castle keeps that create an important barrier between the players and their objective.
At its heart, the concept is simple:
Roll the dice. Move your avatar. Breach the castle. Build the battlefield. Claim the Courtyard.
Players take turns rolling two six sided dice and moving their avatar across the battlefield. Movement is limited to up, down, left, or right, without diagonal movement. This gives new players a straightforward way to understand the basic rhythm of the game while leaving room for more strategic decisions as play develops.
The real strategy begins with what happens at the end of each move.
The Power Move Makes Every Turn Matter
The final step of a player's movement is called the Power Move, one of the defining mechanics of Siege The Game because it turns basic movement into meaningful action.
A Power Move may allow a player to capture an opponent, breach a castle keep ( inventorying a Siege brick, to place on the battlefield, creating obstacles, and barricades, isolating sections of the game board, depleting each keep tower), anor (and/or), once it becomes opened, make the decisive winning move into the Courtyard.
This creates constant decision making: move toward the center, block an opponent, attack, defend, build, or race to the objective.
Because the battlefield changes through Siege bricks, no path is fixed. Players can open or close routes, and a well timed move can reshape the entire board or force opponents to rethink their strategy.
What A Game Of Siege Can Look Like
Picture four players gathered around the battlefield.
Each player begins from a different corner. One moves toward the Courtyard, another blocks a path, a third plays defensively, and the fourth heads for a castle keep to attempt a breach.
As turns continue, the board changes.
Siege bricks are placed, pathways narrow, and positions shift. A safe route can become blocked, and a protected player can become exposed. A Power Move may capture an opponent and alter the battlefield.
Once a castle keep is breached, the center becomes the focus. Players circle the Courtyard, block routes, build defenses, and look for openings as each roll creates new possibilities.
Eventually, one player finds a clear path. The dice provide the movement, and the final Power Move carries the avatar into the Courtyard.
The Siege is won.
A Battlefield That Changes With The Players
What makes Siege The Game distinctive is its emphasis on a battlefield that can change during play.
The Siege bricks are central to that experience. Players can use them to shape routes, block pathways, create difficult choices, and produce turning points that may affect subsequent moves.
This gives the game a familiar tabletop foundation while introducing a changing tactical environment. Players are not simply trying to reach a fixed destination as quickly as possible. They must also consider how their decisions affect the board and how other players might respond.
That combination can give families an accessible entry point while offering strategy gamers, collectors, and competitive players additional layers to explore. The basic movement system is easy to understand, while the interaction between positioning, building, capture, defense, and the Power Move can create increasingly complex situations.
From Tabletop Game To Expanding Creative Property
Cosmic Patriot Studios is developing Siege The Game as more than a single board game release. The broader vision includes tabletop sets, collector components, mobile gameplay, digital systems, expansion packs, tournaments, and the long-term development of T.A.S. / Team Arena Siege.
Current efforts include production planning, Kickstarter development, promotional media, mobile coordination, iOS and Android deployment, rules refinement, and expansion planning. Together, these efforts aim to establish Siege The Game as an original creative property that can grow across multiple formats while keeping the tabletop battlefield at its core.
The project's Kickstarter campaign provides another public destination for people interested in following its development and campaign plans for the 08-25-2026 launch through Kickstarter.
A Creator's Belief That Every Move Should Matter
For Rowland, the game's identity comes back to the importance of decision making.
“Siege The Game was built from the belief that every move should matter,” Rowland said. “Every brick changes the field. Every player has to think ahead. Every turn can become the moment that decides the battle. Our goal now is to introduce Siege clearly, professionally, and powerfully to the world.”
That philosophy is reflected in the game's mechanics. The dice determine movement, but players determine how they respond to the opportunities created by that movement.
A player may have the option to pursue an opponent, protect a position, build a barrier, prepare for a breach, or make a run toward the Courtyard. The game therefore places emphasis not only on where an avatar can move, but on what the player can accomplish with that final step.
Behind those mechanics is a creator working to introduce an original concept to players while developing a broader creative ecosystem around it.
The Next Move Begins On The Board
Cosmic Patriot Studios, MBC describes itself as a creative development and game studio focused on original intellectual property, tabletop game systems, digital media, mobile game development, strategic storytelling, and future entertainment concepts.
For Siege The Game, the central concept remains focused on the battlefield. Four corners lead toward one Courtyard, while castle keeps, Siege bricks, opponent positioning, and Power Moves create decisions throughout the game.
As development continues, the project is being prepared for additional stages of production, public introduction, and potential expansion across tabletop and digital formats.
