-- Conway's and owner, CJ Hooper are pleased to announce that they have been voted as the best bar in New Braunfels by local patrons. The bar has a full schedule of activities every night of the week except Monday. Some of the featured events and special happenings include Happy Hour daily, live mic, karaoke, dance lessons, $.25 wings, $3 pizza, $.50 wings and local bands and live music. Among New Braunfels bars, Conway's has become a 'go-to' place for entertainment. Upcoming events for the next few weeks include Bleu Edmondson on Friday, September 30; Read Southall Band on October 7; and Jerrett Zoch and the OSR Band scheduled for October 14. Continuing through the balance of October features Shane Smith & the Saints on October 21 and Mike and the Moonpies on October 28.
Appetizers and foods hot off the grill feature a large selection, including wings, nachos, fries and Aunt Cassandra's Famous Turkey Wrap. A selection of pizza options includes cheese, buffalo chicken, veggie, pepperoni and BBQ pulled pork. The bar menu offers Texas Cheesesteak, Rooster Burger, and The Conway. A selection of additional toppings, french fries, and bottomless drinks can be ordered. Take out orders are also available.
Reservations for the Party Room or catering services are also available. Conway's is now open at 12 on Sundays for Sunday football. The food includes fifty cent wings and $2.50 domestic longnecks. The sports bar has 22 flat screen televisions and two projectors for viewing ease and entertainment.
The spacious dance floor can be enjoyed, or guests may prefer to eat and watch from the open-air patio. Dance lessons are provided on Tuesdays, along with dance lessons beginning at 7 pm, open mic at 8 and fifty cent wings, plus $2 U-Call Its.
