Approximately 78 percent of Americans feel that learning a musical instrument, such as the piano, helps students perform better in other subjects. Unfortunately, taking piano lessons has gotten somewhat of a bad rap with the younger generation who believe it isn’t necessary, no fun, or a tedious endeavor. —
In an effort to change this perception, Chatalbash Lessons offers fun and educational piano lessons taught by an award winning instructor. Additionally, parents and children have the opportunity to partake in a free trial lesson to see if this is something they wish to pursue.
“At Chatalbash Lessons, we strive to make lessons fun, and educational,” stated owner and instructor Sara Chatalbash. “We believe today’s lessons either focus too much on the learning aspect of the lesson or too much on the fun. We offer something in between that ensures our students learn, but also that they have a great time and get the opportunity to play the type of music they are interested in learning.”
Owner and instructor Sara Chatalbash recently received 2017’s Best of Massapequa Award in the category of Piano Instructor, which is awarded by the Massapequa Award Program. This is an annual award that recognizes companies that have achieved superior marketing success in the community and in their business.
“We offer a free trial for all prospective students for them to determine whether or not piano is something they really want to learn,” continued Chatalbash. “Additionally, it gives parents the opportunity to see how our lessons are different than the other options available in the community. We strive to make the process effective while giving students choices so learning is enjoyable. I want to create great musicians, not just decent pianists.”
