"Completing renovations with an eye towards selling a few years down the line is common practice, and an added bonus to recouping a large portion of the expenses is having the opportunity to enjoy the revamped property prior to selling," Keltie observes. "The renovations that people make for themselves are sometimes different from the renovations they make for re-sale value, so it is always nice when the two line up; a win-win situation."
