-- Capella Hanoi, the acclaimed 47-room boutique hotel in Vietnam's capital city, has been honored with a 2024 Global Recognition Award for its outstanding achievements in luxury hospitality. The prestigious accolade celebrates Capella Hanoi's innovative approach to hospitality, highlighted by its architectural brilliance designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley. The property's distinctive fusion of Art Nouveau and Art Deco elements, inspired by the nearby Hanoi Opera House and the glamorous 1920s, creates an immersive theatrical experience for guests. The hotel's striking marble entrance, with a white and cream facade, proves French 1920s style architecture. At the same time, intricate bas-relief plasterwork by local Artisans depicts Vietnam through the ages, together with modern vintage furnishings, and over 400 hand-painted murals by Kate Spencer depict the "magnificent 47" - ode to each of the 47 rooms with each hotel floor dedicated to artists, impresarios, musicians, starlets, and performers in the early 1900s.

Capella Hanoi's culinary excellence has garnered international recognition, featuring three Michelin-recognized establishments. The property's flagship restaurant, Hibana by Koki, has earned a coveted Michelin star for its exceptional teppanyaki cuisine. Backstage, which showcases the rich flavors of Northern Vietnamese cuisine, and Izakaya by Koki complement this achievement, offering a sophisticated casual Japanese dining experience.  At the top of the hotel, guests are transported to New York Grand Central Station from the 1920s in The Hudson Rooms, with modern Italian American dining. Perhaps the most intriguing is the ultra-exclusive speakeasy whiskey and cigar bar, completely hidden from sight behind sealed doors and only available on request or to those in the know. The welcoming of Diva's Lounge, decked like the Opera stage, further elevates the guest experience with its artistically crafted cocktails and afternoon tea - as the hotel's main lobby bar.

Each of Capella Hanoi's 47 meticulously designed accommodations, ranging from 35 to 194 square meters, feature unique artistically creative décor and authentic artifacts. The rooms seamlessly integrate modern luxury with historical elements, offering smart room controls, marble bathrooms with gold-plated fixtures, and French balconies that provide stunning city views.

"We are honored to receive the Global Recognition Award from Business Insider, proof of our commitment to excellence and unparalleled guest experiences at Capella Hanoi. This accolade inspires us to continue pushing boundaries of unparalleled experiences in hospitality," states Hannah Loughlin, Director of Sales & Marketing.

The property's dedication to wellness and sustainability has established new benchmarks in luxury hospitality. For the weary, Auriga Spa and La Grotta, a glittering "feng shui" swimming pool with a private sauna and steam room, sits serenely below ground, perfect for colder Hanoi winters, for guests to experience the best of southeast Asia's wellness therapies. At the same time, comprehensive sustainability initiatives encompass local organic sourcing and waste reduction programs. The hotel's prime location provides guests with immediate access to cultural landmarks, including Hoan Kiem Lake and the historic Old Quarter.

"Winning the Global Recognition Award from Business Insider reflects our team's dedication and passion. At Capella Hanoi, we strive to create unforgettable moments for our guests, and this award affirms our mission to set new standards in luxury hospitality in Vietnam," adds Loughlin.

Alex Sterling of Global Recognition Awards praised the property's achievements: "Capella Hanoi exemplifies the perfect marriage of historical preservation and modern luxury.
