-- BUV has officially introduced the Resurrection Plant Sugar-Oxygen Dual Antioxidant Brightening Mask, a skincare innovation developed to address key concerns in Asian skin, including oxidative stress, glycation, and dull, sallow tones. The product is designed to meet the growing market demand for a dual-action solution: instant radiance and long-lasting antioxidant protection.

Modern lifestyles expose skin to blue light, UV radiation, irregular sleep, and high-sugar diets, which can trigger an overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) within skin cells. This leads to cellular damage, excessive melanin formation, and accelerated glycation, resulting in dullness, uneven texture, sagging, dark spots, and fine lines. Conventional masks often only provide surface hydration, failing to address the root causes of oxidation and glycation, leaving brightening effects temporary—an ongoing challenge for many in their skincare routines.

The BUV Resurrection Plant Sugar-Oxygen Dual Antioxidant Brightening Mask is powered by BUV’s proprietary brightening technology, delivering visible skin radiance in just 5 minutes while targeting immediate dullness. Its 8+1 sugar-oxygen dual-antioxidant formula works at the cellular level to combat both oxidation and glycation, addressing the root causes of dull, sallow skin.

At the core of the mask is the “golden antioxidant elixir”, featuring Resurrection Plant extract and premium alfalfa extract, both highly sought-after ingredients in luxury skincare. This mask delivers more than hydration—it infuses the skin with highly active antioxidant and anti-glycation serum, effectively neutralizing free radicals, inhibiting glycation, and helping the skin shed deep-seated yellowing for a clearer, radiant complexion.

To preserve ingredient activity, BUV employs a proprietary solid-state freshness-lock technology (low-temperature vacuum freeze-drying), combined with Nobel Prize-winning aquaporin channel technology. This ensures active compounds penetrate the stratum corneum efficiently, achieving deep absorption and overcoming the common limitation of masks where nutrients fail to reach deeper layers.

To evaluate the antioxidant capacity of the key active ingredients in the BUV Resurrection Plant Sugar-Oxygen Dual Antioxidant Brightening Mask, in vitro assays were conducted following the GB/T 38120-2019 standard, using both DPPH and ABTS free radical scavenging methods.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, increasing the concentration of the mask’s core active ingredients from 5% to 25% led to a decrease in absorbance from 0.492 to 0.278 and an increase in DPPH free radical scavenging rate from 25.23% to 74.39%, demonstrating a clear dose–response relationship. These results indicate that the product exhibits a stable, concentration-dependent free radical neutralization ability, confirming its potent antioxidant performance.

To more accurately reflect the product’s antioxidant performance under different skin conditions, the study supplemented the DPPH assay with an ABTS free radical scavenging test. The ABTS assay was employed to evaluate the antioxidant activity of the mask’s key active ingredients. The reaction setup is summarized in Tables 3 and 4: sequentially, ABTS solution, positive control (Vitamin C), test sample (MS), and ddH₂O were added to a 96-well plate according to the indicated volumes. After mixing, the plate was incubated at room temperature for 10 minutes, and the optical density (OD) at 405 nm was measured using a microplate reader.

As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the positive control (Vitamin C) had an IC₅₀ of 2.665 μg/mL for ABTS radical scavenging. The mask’s antioxidant efficacy was significantly superior to the positive control. Compared with the negative control, all tested concentrations exhibited highly significant inhibition (P < 0.001) and demonstrated a clear dose-dependent effect.

Developed by BUV’s dedicated scientific team, the product has undergone multiple safety and tolerance evaluations, making it suitable for dull, sallow skin, rough texture, and early signs of aging. Based on robust scientific validation and proven efficacy, the mask has garnered millions of positive user reviews, offering a deep-level brightening solution for dull skin.

The 8+1 sugar-oxygen dual-antioxidant formula, combining Resurrection Plant extract and alfalfa extract, together with solid-state freshness-lock technology and aquaporin channel technology, has been demonstrated in vitro to effectively neutralize excessive reactive oxygen species within skin cells, blocking oxidation and glycation at the source. This ensures a dual skincare benefit: instant radiance and long-lasting antioxidant protection, providing a clear scientific basis for the product’s efficacy in improving dullness, sallowness, roughness, sagging, dark spots, and fine lines caused by oxidative and glycation-related skin aging.
