-- Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited continues its commitment to sustainability by collaborating with the Water Sports Association of Thailand to organize a water safety training activity for students under the “Float and Swim” initiative. The program aims to equip children with essential survival skills, rescue techniques, basic first aid, CPR, and accident prevention strategies to reduce the risk and fatality rates associated with drowning among youth.

The activity welcomed a total of 160 students from three educational institutions located near Sukhothai Airport: Tha Thong Subdistrict Administrative Organization Child Development Center, Ban Nong Pa To School, and Wat Phai Lom School. Under the supervision of certified instructors, students practiced hands-on water safety skills in a mobile swimming pool specially prepared to ensure a safe learning environment.

The “Float and Swim” initiative not only enhances knowledge and skills in water safety for children and youth but also reflects Bangkok Airways’ ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life in communities surrounding its airports. The company emphasizes environmental stewardship, safety, and sustainable community development as integral parts of its business operations.
