Australian Blockchain Software Start-up Heading For International Stage

Share this news:

An Australian start-up developing blockchain technology solutions for large enterprises will share its vision at the inaugural Circle crypto conference in San Francisco later this month.

Called Savoir, the new business will use next-gen technology to bridge the gap between current  Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and blockchain to increase profitability and efficiency.

The company has commenced local and international capital raising activity and already secured pilot customers for the first Savoir module, which is forecast to deliver up to 1000% better returns on working capital for enterprise treasury managers.

Savoir has been invited by Circle to attend the prestigious Converge22 crypto ecosystem conference in San Francisco from September 27th – 30th. Circle is a global financial technology group at the centre of digital current innovation and open financial infrastructure.

Promoted as a watershed moment in the history of cryptocurrency and finance, the conference will feature an incredible line-up of global experts such as Ethereum Chief Scientist Vitalik  Buterin, and a range of celebrity speakers including tennis superstar Serena Williams and  Hollywood actress Charlize Theron.

Savoir Managing Director Sam Thompson said the company was currently in discussions with a  number of potential Australian and international funding partners and complementary technology businesses.

“The Converge22 crypto conference will be the perfect forum for us to showcase Savoir to dozens of influential leaders from across the finance and technology sectors,” he said.

“We are delighted that Circle has recognised the huge potential of Savoir and invited us to attend this first-ever gathering of its kind.

“As an issuer of USDC and EUROC stablecoins, Circle is closely aligned to our own philosophy  of using the benefits of blockchain and Web3 technology to enable a more open, accessible, and inclusive global value exchange.”

Savoir is the brainchild of a team of top Australian business and technology experts planning to bridge the gap between the ERP systems used by medium and large enterprises, and the blockchain revolution.

As the beating heart of most corporations, ERP measures and tracks the finances, productivity, and assets of a business, providing management with critical information for effective decision-making.

Savoir will develop a series of progressive modules, leveraging blockchain collaborative technology, that will integrate into existing ERP systems to deliver exponentially higher returns and efficiency.

The first Module, Treasury Management, will provide a consolidated cash flow forecast view and aggregate investment opportunities hosted on blockchains that are not specific to a particular  currency or country. It will show treasury managers the expected rates of return and risk profile of investment options according to industry best practices.

“For too long, larger organizations have been missing out on next-gen technologies that we believe will become fundamental to the way all major business is done,” Mr. Thompson said.

“While it’s understandable that many business leaders struggle to fully grasp these technologies,  and also have significant investment in current technology platforms, they face a real danger of being left behind.

“That’s where Savoir comes in. Our purpose is to seamlessly integrate our progressive Savoir  modules with existing ERP systems to accelerate this transition while still allowing customers to  evolve ERPs at a manageable pace.”
