Attune Connect to Launch New Therapy Groups for Individuals and Couples.

Attune Counseling Center, a Sacramento-based therapy service center, has announced that it will be launching new therapy groups for individuals and couples seeking support on a variety of topics. These groups provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect with others who are facing similar challenges, enabling them to learn new coping skills and develop a strong support network.

“We are thrilled to offer these new therapy groups to meet the growing needs of our community,” says Lindsey Yochum, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Attune Counseling Center. “Therapy groups can be a powerful tool for healing and growth, and this expansion of our services provides our clients with a greater breadth of options to support their mental health and well-being.”

Attune Counseling Center’s new therapy groups will focus on relationship skills for couples, relationship skills for singles, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, and postpartum depression and anxiety.

These groups will help participants learn effective communication skills, develop healthy conflict resolution strategies and strengthen their emotional connection. Participants of the relationship skills groups will also have the opportunity to explore their dating patterns, develop healthy relationship goals, and build confidence in their relationships. Additionally, those taking the DBT classes will learn the core skills of DBT, including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, and Art Therapy participants will use art as a tool for self-expression, exploration, and healing. Finally, new mothers who are experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety will receive support and education in the postpartum groups.

Therapy groups offer a number of benefits for individuals and couples seeking mental health support, including connection and guidance, reduced stigma, cost-effectiveness, and the development of new skills.

Group therapy can provide a sense of connection and support that can be difficult to find elsewhere. Group members can share their experiences, learn from each other, and offer encouragement to one another. Therapy groups can also help to reduce the stigma associated with mental health challenges. Participating in a group helps individuals to see that they are not alone and that many people struggle with similar challenges. Additionally, therapy groups are often more cost-effective than individual therapy.

“Therapy groups can be a powerful tool for healing and growth,” says Yochum. “Group therapy can provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect with others who are facing similar challenges, learn new coping skills, and develop a strong support network.”

“We are committed to providing our clients with a variety of options to support their mental health and well-being,” she adds.
