Yarber Creative, an employee communication consulting firm dedicated to helping executives, members of HR and internal communication professionals solve the challenges they have with getting messages to their workforce, announces the first annual BenefitsWise Ugly Newsletter Contest. Companies can enter through August 15 via an online form for a chance to win BenefitsWise, the new corporate communication product that is the only mobile app focused solely on employee benefits and rewards. —
“The annual benefits open enrollment period is right around the corner,” explains Yarber Creative founder, Tina Hawkins. “Companies are required to communicate to every employee. As a result, all their employee communication challenges surface at the same time. It can be overwhelming.” These challenges not only impact Human Resources and internal communication professionals, but employees as well.
Communication that removes the mystery around benefits and rewards not only makes the best use of the investment companies make in employee benefits, but more importantly, it improves employee engagement resulting in more productivity and improved employee retention.
Companies with an ugly newsletter are eligible to enter the contest. “An ugly newsletter isn’t just one that needs a makeover because the design is tired, out-of-date or godforbid uses Comic Sans font,” says Sebastian Uribarri, co-developer of BenefitsWise. “It could also be ugly because it is difficult to distribute.” Designed to solve both of those problems, BenefitsWise provides employees with quick answers about their benefits and rewards on any smartphone.
To enter, a company representative can visit yarbercreative.com and submit the form by August 15, 2016.
For prizes, entrants also have the chance to win:
- The Grand Prize, valued at over $6,000 USD: BenefitsWise
- 2nd Prize, valued at $2,500 USD: Open Enrollment Communication Pack with five written and designed promotional communications.
- 3rd Prize, valued at $1,000 USD: 10-articles on benefits and career information to be used in any employee communication.
