Anthony Regner is an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College, where he has been teaching since Spring 2024. He graduated from Hunter College in July 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Although his goal is to be a frontend software developer, he is very passionate about the pedagogy of discrete mathematics.
Before becoming an adjunct, he was an undergraduate teaching assistant, where he excelled in tutoring, grading, and exam proctoring, often going above and beyond to support student success. Anthony emphasizes the value of in-person teaching to encourage meaningful student engagement while integrating web-enhanced tools to increase accessibility and adaptability in the digital age.
After he was recognized at the FUELD Conference, Anthony expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m so glad that I have received the 'Future Icon Award' at the FUELD Conference. The fact that I received that award is a very significant milestone in my life, especially at a young age.
