On April 11th The American Movie Company proudly provided — WebCasting services to Buick at Pier 59 Studios. AMC worked with Click3x to Live Stream the long awaited reveal of the new Buick Enclave Avenir to Facebook Live.
Arie Ohayon was the Director of Photography. Lou Blackmon and Romain Gest were both Camera Operators, while Eduardo Torres acted as Best Boy. Devin Block was the WebCast Flypack Operator. Charles Hohenshilt was the Key Gaffer and RJ Yenesel was the Sound Engineer. Parm Girn was on set as Production Manager while Elle Kyle headed the production office.
The crew started the day shooting closeup footage of the Enclave’s interior and exterior. They then shot exclusive interviews with Buick executives covering the Enclave’s design features and specs. Devin Block then cut the footage of the car and the interviews to be inserted into the live show that night.
The pièce de résistance of the night was the Live unveiling of the Enclave. Once the veil was lifted, attendees of the event were able to get close to the new SUV. They were even able to take selfies inside the car!
AMC’s WebCast was able to reach thousands of remote viewers, in addition to those in attendance. The show was a seamless blend of the footage recorded earlier in the day and footage from the Live event. The crew was glad to have participated in the unveiling of the Buick Enclave, and the client was impressed with the stunning footage captured by AMC’s masterful DP and camera department.
