AIPath Launches Growth Decision Intelligence for the CEO as Gartner launches the Decision Intelligence Category.

As Gartner launches the Magic Quadrant for Decision Intelligence Platforms, AIPath founder David Isaac sets out how this category now targets the hardest decision a CEO makes every quarter: how to grow.

-- The growth decision sets the budget for almost every other decision a company makes, yet it is the only one still made without dedicated software. AIPath, the prescriptive strategy generation and testing platform, has launched its growth strategy platform for the C-Suite to close that gap.

In January 2026 Gartner formalised the Decision Intelligence Platform category, and predicted that half of all business decisions will be augmented with AI agents by 2027. But the 17 companies Gartner named, like SAS and FICO, only help companies decide who to lend to, who is committing fraud, and how to route a supply chain. None of them help a CEO decide how to grow.

"Every Leader on that quadrant helps you decide who to trust with money," says AIPath founder David Isaac. "Not one helps you decide how to grow the business. That is not an oversight. That is the frontier." Closing that frontier is what AIPath has been building towards since 2023.

The Problem Every CEO Carries Alone

Isaac has spent 22 years on the growth-decision problem across corporate strategy and CGO roles, and his argument is direct. Leaders need software that adapts their growth strategy as competitors move, without the old tradeoff between deep research and speed. Instead, the C-Suite still makes the highest-stakes decisions of the year on the lagging data from the software that runs departments. Salesforce and HubSpot hold the pipeline. Tableau and Power BI visualise, Amplitude tracks usage. Jira holds the roadmap, and Anaplan monitors execution of a strategy already decided. Excellent tools, but none of them turn that lagging data into forward-looking options a leader can test. AIPath's digital twin generates and tests options for growth strategy, the way Palantir builds digital twins for government and enterprise operations and Siemens builds them for advanced factories.

"The CEO holds the growth decision alone, reconciles complex data from various teams in his head, and is the one whose career is on the line when the bet is wrong," Isaac says. "Meanwhile, the options for what we can build next have outgrown human reasoning, which is particularly confronting in markets where 72% of new products fail."

Why the Usual Alternatives Fall Short

Before business complexity grew, tools just had to feed data to a decision-maker. That era is over, but its tools remain. The offsite and the board deck are episodic, built on business intelligence that only shows what has already happened. Chief product officers own features, not revenue growth. Consulting is transient, and the updates stop after the twelve-week project. Even dedicated revenue strategy teams inside Fortune 500 companies still model in spreadsheets and present on slides. AIPath is designed to be the opposite of all of them: a system that runs continuously, looks forward, spans key departments, and compounds with each cycle of evidence.

"For all the multi-billion-dollar software we have bought, strategy is the last boardroom decision still made with experience and a slide deck," Isaac says.

The Cost of Getting It Wrong

Pendo's research found that 80 percent of product features are rarely or never used, an estimated USD 26 billion in wasted engineering. AIPath targets the root of that waste. "Companies do not lack the ability to build," Isaac says. "They lack a way to know what is worth building before the budget is gone."

What AIPath Does

AIPath automates the build-measure-learn loop and connects it to the roadmaps every team already runs. AIPath builds a digital twin of the company and a simulated space of possible futures, putting product, engineering, sales, marketing and competitors in one strategy-to-execution view rather than four disconnected roadmaps and a research document. That makes a company's strategy visible, testable and editable in a way slides never allowed.

AIPath then searches that space the way AlphaGo found Move 37, the move no human expert would have played and every commentator called a mistake before it won the game. AIPath hunts for the growth moves human strategists would never consider, then tests the strongest of them in the market using protocols modelled on double-blind drug trials.

"AIPath gives you a ranked, probability-weighted and tested shortlist of your three highest-confidence strategic bets, continuously updating your growth strategy playbook as the market moves. What would that be worth to your organisation annually?" asks Isaac. Here Isaac draws a deliberate line between AI chatbots and tested, simulated strategy. AIPath attaches every growth idea to the experiment that would prove it, then feeds the results back into the company's data foundation to get smarter with each cycle. AIPath calls this compounding strategic intelligence, and Isaac describes it as the platform's core advantage.

"You will not find tomorrow's best move in yesterday's dashboards," Isaac says. "So AIPath continuously enriches your data with live tests of new growth hypotheses on real customers."

Growth Is Not One Fixed Goal

Most strategy software optimises for a single fixed goal. Real growth does not work that way. A competitor may cut prices, a channel might dry up, or churn spikes after a launch. AIPath's agents point out what changed and show leaders the tradeoff between what matters now and what mattered last quarter. Then, by pre-ranking initiatives against ROI, AIPath flags busywork before it reaches an engineer's roadmap or a marketer's content calendar.

"Most execution optimises for the strategy you set in January," Isaac says. "Markets do not wait until December for you to adapt."

Early Results and Recognition

AIPath reports positive results from deployments and design partners. One banking and insurance company reduced its cost of acquisition from USD 240 to USD 43 in a single quarter with AIPath's product and positioning recommendations. In a live session, one telco leader made more insightful progress in 17 minutes than his 50-person team had in 18 months.

AIPath's customers include tier-1 management consultancies and deep-technology commercialisation offices, and AIPath is already piloting in four of the world's best-known technology companies, two of them among the fifteen largest in the United States by revenue.

In 2025, AIPath won the AI Agents Global Challenge and its USD 1 million prize pool. AIPath also joined the first cohorts of the Microsoft and BLOCK71 AI Accelerate Program and HP's Garage 2.0 accelerator, both of which open pathways into those companies' enterprise sales channels.

For Isaac, the interest from consultancies and platform companies points to relevance beyond any single industry. AIPath generates the evidence that powers decision confidence, the missing ingredient for agentic AI that works in business strategy rather than only in a demo.
