The Rocky McElhaney Law Firm is proud to announce that attorney Afsoon Hagh was named to the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys’ Top Under 40 list of personal injury attorneys for the state of Tennessee. About the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys
The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys was founded in 2013. Its goals are twofold: to assist legal consumers by identifying “top ranked attorneys in their states,” and to assist the legal community by providing “highly-qualified Personal Injury attorneys with the most current continuing education opportunities” available. The organization produces two lists each year: a Top 10 list and a Top 10 under 40. In order to make the minimum requirements for either list, the nominees must:
• “Must be licensed and in good standing in the state
• Must be in private practice
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Personal Injury
• Must devote a significant portion of practice to Personal Injury
• Must be nominated by a licensed practicing attorney or one of our in-house research staff members”
Thousands of lawyers are considered each year for selection, and the group’s in-house staff selects 50 attorneys per state from the pool of applicants. The Board of Governors then selects the Top 10 in each state for inclusion on the list. The attorneys included are in the Top 1% of all practicing personal injury attorneys in the country.
