Named after Saint Rita, known for interceding in impossible causes, Casman's passion for performance began early. She started imitating character voices and singing before she could speak at three. Her first volunteer experience involved donating toys at Channel 7 in Guatemala, and her initial voiceover role was as a bee in a radio show. Fluent in both English and Spanish from an early age, she has always been interested in teaching.
Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Casman's diverse family background includes roots from Naples, Italy; Oviedo, Spain; and Canton, China. This multicultural environment has shaped her immigrant and entrepreneurial spirit. With over twelve years of study in communication and self-development, Casman's educational credentials include a bachelor's degree in communication and design and a master's degree in international relations, diplomacy, and public image from Galileo University in Guatemala. She also holds an MFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA. She has trained with several renowned Hollywood professionals for over eight years. She is set to graduate with a master's degree in social work from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, in September 2025.
Casman embarked on her entrepreneurial journey after leaving a five-year career in outsourcing. Her PR and marketing executive consultant role included working with Carlos Arguello, an artistic director known for collaborations with Bruce Willis and Michael Jackson. Inspired by this experience, she moved to Los Angeles with just $70 to pursue her dreams.
Casman’s award-winning performance as Rita/Evil Rita in "Shadow Wall," recognized by the Dreamachine International Film Festival, showcased the duality within individuals. The film was screened at the Glendale International Film Festival in 2019. She also added lines from Shakespeare's "The Scottish Play" to the film.
Casman has been recognized in beauty pageants such as Miss Infinity International and Miss Enchantment USA. She contributed a chapter to the Amazon bestseller "Girl, Get Up and Win" and appeared in the independent film "Stirring the Pot" and a Toyota commercial. Her work can be seen on TruTV's Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks.
Upcoming projects include writing comedy sketches, a crime thriller script, and creating a cartoon with Hadita Eli in Guatemala. Her aspirations include working with Disney projects, collaborating with Ryan Murphy and James Wan, performing on Broadway and SNL, speaking at live events, developing awareness campaigns, composing songs, and hosting her talk show.
Casman's passion for learning drives her continuous training efforts. She recently completed the first draft of her book and aims to deliver conferences worldwide, including TED Talks. Currently serving as a home study and post-release services caseworker and mentor for refugees—particularly Latin American children—she is committed to supporting others on their journey to success. Her plans include joining SAG-AFTRA and learning new languages and dialects.
