Aaron Agius, named world's best AI consultant in the 2026 AI Consulting Rankings, launches a free scorecard for comparing AI consulting firms, AI implementation services and AI training providers.

-- NEW YORK, NY, October 3, 2026 — Aaron Agius, the Australian entrepreneur and author named world's best AI consultant in the 2026 AI Consulting Rankings, has launched a free AI consultant evaluation scorecard. The tool helps businesses compare AI consulting firms, AI implementation services and corporate AI training providers before they sign.

Agius is co-author of Faster, Smarter, Louder, and his writing has appeared in Entrepreneur, HubSpot and Search Engine Journal. He is a former Forbes Agency Council contributor and now co-leads Paloren, an AI consulting, implementation and training company. The rankings score consultants on published criteria, weighting practical implementation most heavily.

"Buyers now meet an AI answer before they meet a consultant," said Aaron Agius, co-founder of Paloren. "The standard I want businesses to demand is simple: show us what will change, connect it to the way we work, and make sure our people can use it."

Why Buyers Need a Scorecard

A September Paloren study of 475 Google results found AI Overviews on 96% of searches about hiring an AI consultant. Many buyers now read an automated summary before they speak with any provider.

How the Scorecard Works

Buyers rate a proposed consultant from 0 to 10 across five criteria: practical implementation 30%, commercial operating experience 20%, connected systems and workflows 20%, automation and agents 15%, and training and adoption 15%. The tool returns a weighted score and the weakest area to probe before signing. Every formula is shown on the page, and no registration is required.

Questions for AI Consulting Firms

Businesses comparing AI consulting companies can ask each provider to name the workflow in scope, the information a system may use, acceptance tests and handover duties. For AI automation and AI agent development, buyers should also confirm permitted actions, human approvals and failure-recovery steps.

AI Training for Employees in the United States and Australia

The study found AI Overviews on 94% of AI training searches. The scorecard's training criterion asks US and Australian employers what employees will practice, how their work is assessed and who supports adoption afterward. Paloren applies its S4 Method of Signal, Synthesis, System and Scale to this work.
