Multiple factors are gathered and analyzed to select the winners in each category. The award program for 2017 is focused on quality rather than quantity. The information that is considered is gathered by the Phoenix Small Business Excellence Award Program, as well as data provided by third parties.According to a representative of the Phoenix Small Business Excellence Award Program, “We recognize outstanding small businesses that serve the Phoenix area. The awards program was originally established to reward the best of small businesses in the Phoenix locale. The organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade
groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups. The mission is to award the small business community’s contributions to the US economy.
25th Street Automotive honors and adheres to the Automotive Service Association’s Code of Ethics, the automotive service industry’s standard for professional business practices. The family has been operating a business in Phoenix since 1958. The second generation of the family has continued to serve the community they grew up in. The company has a standing discount whereby they perform repairs at cost for organizations such as St. Vincent DePaul, the Salvation Army and the Department of Economic Security.
