-- According to figures released by global premium automotive brand Lynk & Co, its premium plug-in hybrid SUV, the Lynk & Co 08, has surpassed 200,000 cumulative deliveries worldwide. Since its launch in September 2023, the model has expanded to more than 30 countries and regions across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and North Africa. The delivery milestone demonstrates the model’s growing market presence, but its product specifications and verified achievements provide a clearer explanation of how it reached this scale.
Built on the CMA Evo architecture, Lynk & Co 08 features the EM-P Super Hybrid system, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, dual electric motors, a three-speed DHT Evo transmission and a 39.6 kWh battery. It later completed 293 kilometres in pure-electric mode in Toluca, Mexico, setting another record for pure-electric range in its class. The two records provide tangible evidence of the model’s long-distance flexibility and electric capability.
Safety and reliability add another layer to the product case. Lynk & Co 08 received a five-star Euro NCAP rating and achieved the highest overall score among the plug-in hybrid vehicles tested in 2025. It is equipped with seven airbags and more than 20 active safety functions, while high-strength steel and aluminium alloy account for 75 percent of its body structure. The model has also completed more than 7,000 kilometres in 14 days on an expedition to the Arctic Circle, encountering temperatures as low as -30°C. As the official expedition vehicle for the QUEST DAKAR 2026 Rally, it later crossed three African countries and covered 3,200 kilometres of desert terrain in temperatures reaching 41°C. These journeys demonstrate how Lynk & Co 08 performs across long distances, extreme temperatures and demanding road conditions.
