-- The Addiction Resource Center (ARC) is pleased to announce the launch of its TRICARE-approved intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), available for active duty military members in Yuba City and the surrounding areas, including Beale Air Force Base. These programs are designed to provide outpatient addiction treatment that accommodates the needs and schedules of service members.

Research indicates that IOPs are a highly effective treatment option for individuals battling substance use disorders. A study published in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment found that participants in IOPs experienced significant reductions in substance use and improvements in overall functioning, underscoring the potential of IOPs to support military personnel in their recovery journey while allowing them to maintain their professional responsibilities.
Addiction is a significant concern among military personnel, with stressors such as deployment, combat exposure, and the challenges of reintegration contributing to substance use disorders. Recognizing these challenges, ARC has developed IOPs that offer flexible, structured treatment options to help service members achieve and maintain sobriety.
"Our TRICARE-approved IOPs are specifically designed to meet the needs of active duty military members," said a spokesperson for ARC. "We understand the unique pressures that service members face, and our programs provide the necessary support to help them overcome addiction while fulfilling their duties."
The IOPs at ARC include a combination of medically supervised detoxification, individual and group therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dual-diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. These treatment plans are personalized to ensure that service members receive the appropriate level of care based on their individual needs.
In addition to these services, ARC offers comprehensive aftercare support to help military clients maintain their recovery once they have completed the IOP. This includes ongoing care that focuses on relapse prevention strategies and access to sober living assistance.
Active duty military members stationed at Beale Air Force Base, as well as those in the surrounding area, can take advantage of these TRICARE-approved services, ensuring that treatment is both accessible and financially manageable.
