Thousands of businesses across Keller & Fort Worth prepare to re-open to both employees and the public say workplace cleanliness and disinfection most important.

-- As thousands of businesses across Keller & Fort Worth prepare to re-open to both employees and the public, workplace cleanliness and disinfection has never been more important, according to Javier Lora, General Manager of Brenda’s Cleaning in Keller, Texas.

Lora cited that over 80% of business leaders in one survey indicated that it was “likely” or “very likely” that they would increase the cleaning frequency of their facilities once their company reopened. In addition, 94% of those leaders surveyed plan to add regular disinfection to their cleaning programs.

“No matter what your business is, COVID-19 has redefined the level of cleanliness and sanitization that Fort Worth area businesses will accept” said Lora. “Many offices are changing from minimal, basic, cleaning standards, like vacuuming and wiping down surfaces, into specialized, more advanced cleaning protocols that include electrostatic disinfecting. It’s a trend we don’t see changing in the near future.”

These views are supported by recent findings from the National Institutes of Health. According the NIH, Scientists found that the Covid-19 coronavirus can be detectable in the air for as long as 3 hours. It can be detected on copper surfaces for up to 4 hours, on cardboard for up to 24 hours, and on plastic and stainless steel for 2 to 3 days. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have previously reported that it could be possible that a person could become exposed to the COVID-19 virus by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes.

“Minimizing risk and reducing germs is a big focus for Brenda’s Cleaning” said Lora, General Manager. “Now, more often, customers of local businesses want to know that they are properly sanitizing their offices before they visit” said Lora.

Mr Lora reported that Brenda’s Cleaning has experienced a sharp increase in demand for its advanced electrostatic cleaning and disinfecting measures since the outbreak of COVID-19 began. All staff members of Brenda’s Cleaning are monitored daily for their health status and fully trained in the proper application of the EPA-approved disinfection and sanitization chemicals the company uses.

To meet this growing demand, Brenda’s Cleaning recently introduced a new electrostatic disinfection & sanitization service for its customers. The offering allows for customers to select sanitizing & disinfecting services even if they self-clean for their other daily cleaning needs. Each business customer can choose a cleaning & sanitizing frequency that fits their particular needs and situation. Brenda’s also offers a one-time deep cleaning and disinfecting service.

Electrostatic disinfection spraying provides a safe and effective way to thoroughly clean and sanitize offices, concentrating on high touch areas. The specialized sprayers diffuse an EPA approved liquid disinfectant in a mist that electrostatically adheres to surfaces throughout an area. Brenda’s cleaning crew then follow up with a thorough cleaning procedures checklist to wipe down personal and common areas of the home or office. The disinfectant is safe for employees and clients while also remaining highly effective in eliminating contagious diseases.

“We are seeing a large bump in demand for sanitizing-oriented services from local offices & business who want to better protect the health and safety of their employees and customers,” Lora said.
