Destin, FL - October, 28th 2014 For the 3rd year in a row, Wells Vision and Laser Eye Center of Destin, Florida was named the Best Eye Doctor Practice by the Emerald Coast Magazine, topping other practices in the area. They have also been named the best Eye-Wear store by the magazine.

The Emerald Coast Magazine selects businesses in the five counties of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and Bay, and surveys its readers annually. The survey is collated with customer reviews, and the best establishments for each of the dozens of categories and businesses are then included in a list called the Best of Emerald Coast Magazine. Dr. Wells’ clinic was voted Best of 2012, 2013 and 2014 for the said category.
A board certified optometric laser vision correction surgeon, Dr. Wells’ work has been published in the Journal of the American Optometric Association, which featured his successful operation on a 20-year-old man whose eyes were damaged by the explosion of pyrotechnics device. There, Dr. Wells highlighted corrective laser surgery as an alternative to corneal transplant and has earned him the reputation of being among the best in his field.
