-- Vision Specialists has announced the addition of Jordan Keith, O.D., F.A.A.O., Dipl. A.B.O., to their practice in Council Bluffs. Dr. Keith brings a long history in the optometric field, as both an astounding provider and a respected educator to his peers. His achievements, and emphasis on patient-doctor relationship, will further Vision Specialists’ mission to provide with exceptional, modern eye care.

Dr. Keith is a North Dakota native who completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Minot State University. He achieved his Doctor of Optometry at the Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon, where he received the highest honor in his class — the Dean’s Award. Afterwards, Dr. Keith went on to complete his residency in ocular disease at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
After his education, he became full-time faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago, and saw patients at the Illinois Eye Institute. Additionally, he served as Chief of Eye Care Services at the Sidney Hillman Health Center, and received six teaching awards from students at ICO. From there, he served as a Trustee on the Board of the Minnesota Optometric Association; co-founded KMK Optometry Coaching; and to this day, provides education to students and professionals around the world.

Dr. Keith — who recently made Newsweek’s “America’s Best Eye Doctors” as voted on by his peers in 2022 — will begin working at Vision Specialists’ Council Bluffs location in November. He’s taking appointments for current and new patients.
