Vein Health Clinics Starts Free Telemedicine Consults
Winter Haven, FLORIDA (April 27, 2020) – Vein Health Clinics has launched its own free telemedicine program in the midst of the COVID-19 health crisis.
In response to the current challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the need to abide by the Safer at Home Order (Executive Order 20-91) that has been in effect since April 1, 2020 in the state of Florida, Vein Health Clinics, headed by its founder Dr. Obinna Nwobi, has begun offering free telemedicine consults.
As one of the most highly trusted health care facilities in Central Florida, Vein Health Clinics aims to continue providing responsive, high quality health care to people who have vein and artery concerns, even as everyone’s mobility is limited in the current health crisis. These concerns include peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, spider veins, varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency and pelvic congestion.
Through the provision of free telemedicine consults, Dr. Nwobi and his team at Vein Health Clinics hope to improve people’s continued access to quality health care during these times, as free online access helps to discourage self-diagnosis that is usually faulty, inadequate and dangerous.
As a physician who has always involved himself in helping the underserved, including treating patients as far as Nigeria and those who simply cannot afford medical treatment, Dr. Nwobi, through Vein Health Clinics, also hopes to use their free telemedicine consults as a vehicle for reaching out to those who have little to no access to personalized health care services.
This is especially an urgent concern as the current situation does not permit people to move freely and avail of health care services easily. Moreover, patients with certain health conditions are known to be high-risk when infected with COVID-19. By offering free telemedicine consults, Vein Health Clinics hopes to do its part in ensuring the health of the people.
Dr. Nwobi’s extensive experience and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of even the most complex vascular conditions have made him a trusted physician in Central Florida. Hence, everyone who takes advantage of this free service can expect reliable and clear care and/or treatment instructions, subject to the usual limitations that affect any kind of telehealth service.
All telemedicine consults are offered free of cost and any prescriptions will be transmitted via email and through the app. Only cases requiring urgent personal care and diagnostic tests will be given appointments to visit the clinic in person.
Their telemedicine consultation services are accessible via Chiron Health, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Vein Health Clinics’ free telemedicine consultation services will continue indefinitely, or until the situation normalizes and the state of Florida makes an official declaration that the Safer at Home Order is lifted.
The clinic continues to accept most major insurance plans, as well as self-pay options.
For inquiries on vein and artery-related matters or to book a diagnostic evaluation, contact 407-278-6925 (Oviedo) or 863-223-3797 (Winter Haven), or use their online contact form.
