The new Washington office opens with a team of four highly experienced attorneys and professional staff with over 60 years of combined legal experience.
Managing Partner/Principal, Glenn Slate leads the Vancouver, Washington office. Mr. Slate has over 20 years of experience in the field of family law. The opening of the Longview, Washington office of Heritage Family Law is an additional milestone in the Firm’s growth, following the opening of our Vancouver, Washington office in 2017.
We’re pleased to expand our presence in Clark and Cowlitz Counties and are confident our newest family law attorney, Christine Dow, will significantly enhance our Pacific Northwest team. Christine is not only an excellent attorney with a wealth of real-life experience, but she also complements our current practice by allowing us to offer expanded services to our clients in our newly added satellite office in Longview, Washington.
Prior to law school, Christine spent several years working closely with executives at two major corporations developing office support functions and generally ensuring that organizations with several hundred employees ran smoothly. A relocation prompted her to begin taking classes at Western Washington University, where she excelled in an academically intense program focused on law and diversity. Her success in this program earned her a scholarship and acceptance at the University of Idaho College of Law.
Since her admission to the Washington State Bar, Christine has worked extensively with Law Advocates – a legal aid organization aimed at assisting low-income individuals and families facing urgent legal problems. This position allowed Christine to solve a wide variety of complex legal issues – primarily in the area of family law. Before joining Heritage Family Law, Christine practiced at the Baumgarten Law Office located in Whitman County.
