Hope Shop is a charity store where style meets purpose, offering unique designs by Ukrainian artists printed on clothing and accessories. The launch comes at a time when Ukrainian children still urgently need support, as many families continue to face displacement and hardship from the ongoing war.
The shop's product selection includes unisex, heavy cotton t-shirts featuring designs like "Mother”, three-panel fleece hoodies such as the "Sunborn" design, coffee mugs with the "Balance of Worlds" pattern, and cotton canvas tote bags with imagery like protective angels. All products celebrate Ukrainian heritage and nature.
Yana Vlasenko-Bernatska, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, also contributed illustrations to the initiative. She holds 5 national records of Ukraine, including the largest patriotic mural and the longest fence painted in Samchykivka style.
In addition, Hope Shop features artwork from talented creators who experienced the conflict firsthand. Taia Salenko, a 14-year-old artist from Kherson and a foundation beneficiary, donated her creations to be printed on merchandise available through the shop.
Despite being forced to flee her hometown through checkpoints and enduring constant shelling, she found strength in art to recreate what she lost and dreams of regaining. Her work reflects Ukrainian cultural symbols, including kalyna for family warmth, protective angels representing hope, and mythical figures helping her process the adult challenges she faced.
The charity shop ships worldwide, enabling international supporters to donate to Ukrainian kids through purchases. Customers receive useful items while contributing to programs that help Ukrainian families rebuild their lives and provide psychological care and educational opportunities.
Through this initiative, the Hope - Children of Ukraine Foundation provides humanitarian aid, psychological support, English language education, and career guidance programs to young people affected by war.
