Furry Land Tucson welcomes dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes and offers a stress-free alternative to busy salons. This is especially beneficial for long-haired pets like shih tzus, poodles, and Persian cats, who often need to spend many hours at a groomer.

There is more to grooming than the obvious effects, like a shiny coat and a fresh-smelling pet. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®, a groomer can detect diseases like cysts, skin conditions, and ear infections that are often difficult for an untrained eye to notice in the early stages. Especially long-haired dogs can get serious health issues if their fur starts to mat, which in the worst case, can lead to cut-off circulation and amputation.
Furry Land Tucson's full-service package includes a heated bath, haircut, nail clipping, paw pad shave, eye and ear cleaning, and plucking as needed. The company uses pet-friendly shampoo and conditioner but can also use the owner's preferred products upon request. After the bath, the pet will be dried with a towel and get a blowout, as Furry Land has a no drip-drying policy.
Depending on the pet's fur and size, Furry Land has different rates and takes on dogs up to 125 pounds and over. The groomers primarily work with dogs but also take on short and long-haired cats when possible.
