TransTech Participated in the Old Soldier’s Reunion Parade in Newton, NC

TransTech,a leading provider of truck driver training and CDL testing in the state of North Carolina, recently participated in the Old Soldier’s Reunion Parade in Newton, NC.

TransTech, a leader in truck driver training in North Carolina, assisted in the celebration of the 130th Annual Old Soldier’s Reunion Parade in Newton, North Carolina on August 15, 2019. This year’s theme aimed at honoring all of the United States’ veterans who have admirably served and protected the country’s freedom. Reunion Chairman, Wayne Dellinger stated, “This wonderful gathering of citizens from all over Catawba County has been continuing since 1889 and has proved to be a red-letter time each year for thousands of folks. It’s a time to say ‘thank you’ to the honored veterans and ‘welcome’ to everybody who comes to share in that tribute and to have wholesome fun while proclaiming love for America.”


“Given TransTech’s immense support and appreciation of the nation’s veterans, it is almost critical to celebrate and participate in such a historic event,” says Eric Wright, Director of TransTech. “Despite recent national tragedies and social combativeness, the company’s focus has and will continue to concentrate on community involvement,” says Wright. During the parade, TransTech, together with over one-hundred community businesses and organizations, took to the streets of Downtown Newton, North Carolina to engage in community fellowship and solidarity.


TransTech operates seven tractor-trailer and CDL training facilities in the state of North Carolina. With weekly starts and unbeaten tuition rates, students can complete training, earn his or her commercial driver’s license, and acquire employment as a professional driver in 1-months’ time. Wright states, “Many of the students either come from or have enlisted in the nation’s military. The partnered trucking companies jump at the chance to offer immediate employment to the student graduates, particularly those from military backgrounds. From unemployment to financial stability and career success in 30-days or less, of course, TransTech wants to participate in facilitating the company’s training and values to the surrounding community.”
