Waldorf education has become increasingly popular throughout the world as an effective, student-centred alternative to traditional approaches commonly employed in public schools. With more than three decades of experience working with children from Pre-K to Grade 8, Waldorf Academy is constantly developing new programs to meet the educational needs of parents and children in Toronto and the surrounding areas.

The Parent & Tot course is a weekly program designed to promote optimal sensory, cognitive, social and emotional development for young children. The two-hour sessions feature engaging activities based on Waldorf principles, being ideal opportunities for parents and children to become part of a meaningful and supportive learning community.

The weekly programs are held on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, with eight weekly sessions scheduled between September 27 and December 15.

The latest announcement is part of the Academy’s efforts to provide high-quality Waldorf education programs for children of all ages.

A satisfied parent said: “Two of my children have graduated from the toddler program up into the pre-school program and each and every step of the way they were supported and nurtured by truly the most caring and committed teachers we could ever have hoped to have. Every morning, I felt so good dropping them off at a place in which I knew they were so obviously well cared for. I am truly grateful for the opportunities they were given at Waldorf, to thrive and to grow in such a special place.”
