Nelspruit (Mbombela) is one of the fastest-growing cities in South Africa. It is also the commercial center for the Mpumalanga region – and export center to neighboring Mozambique and Swaziland. Because of it’s proximity, many people from White River and Barberton use Nelspruit as their business hub. As Nelspruit has clear sunshine throughout most of the year, more and more people are switching to solar water heating (geyser) systems. New property developments in Nelspruit also prefer to install solar geysers rather than traditional electric geysers.
These are some of the reasons why the owner and CEO of Heat Africa (Louis Faul) recently decided to move his business from Pretoria to Nelspruit.
According to him, Heat Africa originated in 1996. Initially, they specialized in underfloor heating. For the last 10 years, however, they focused on and specialized in consulting about and installing solar geysers. The training and experience they gained in these years, empowered them to become a top renewable energy company specializing in the provision, installation, and maintenance of solar geysers.
It is this expertise (more than just his business) that he is taking to Nelspruit (Mbombela), White River, Barberton, and surrounding areas. According to him, Heat Africa will be established in Nelspruit as a one-stop solar water heater solution company – providing quality advice and products to their customers.
In working with customers they focus on four aspects of solar geyser systems, namely:
a. Helping customers to plan and design the optimal solar geyser system for their environment – taking into account their personal needs, the physical realities of their buildings and giving attention to quality, efficiency, and durability;
b. Supplying the best solar geyser products that have been tried and tested to withstand different climate conditions of South Africa and are SABS approved;
c. Installing the solar geyser system compliant with SANS building regulations and SHEQ specifications – always under his personal supervision, and
d. Maintaining and repairing solar geyser systems.
