Tinker Self Storage has brought on new expertise and named Quita Lee as new Manager in charge of allowing residents of Midwest City to know about our new self-storage facility because of poor visibility from street traffic on S Douglas Blvd.

Seven years manager of self-storage facility, and eleven years of business accounting for Frito Lay, Quita Lee takes new position as Manager for Tinker Self Storage. Full details can be found on the About section of the company website, http://www.tinkerselfstorage.com/.

Tinker Self Storage CEO, Steven Bell expressed confidence that Quita Lee is ready to handle the job, saying:

“Being a relatively new self-storage facility in Midwest City required hiring someone with self-storage management experience. We felt like Quita was the perfect fit because she had over 7 years of successful experience managing other self-storage facilities and she came highly recommended from our former manager Gary Gillispie.” Gary Gillispie will remain as an Advisor to Tinker Self Storage and will be consulting with Quita during the transition phase.

Among the new responsibilities Quita Lee can expect to handle, the main challenges are:

Allowing residents of Midwest City to know about the self-storage facility because of poor visibility from street traffic. Tinker Self Storage is located in a valley on the west side of the road between S&B’s Burger Joint and the new Zaxby’s Chicken.

Because of poor visibility of street traffic at 1951 S. Douglas Blvd, Quita will need to do more networking and reaching out to business owners and leaders in the Midwest City and Tinker Air Force Base community. Quita has already started networking at Chamber events and with local businesses in the Midwest City area letting them know about the new self-storage facility.

Tinker Self Storage has many benefits to Midwest City residents and military personnel at Tinker Air Force Base besides being a new and modern self-storage facility. Their customers have 24 hour access to their storage units and all of their self-storage units are individually alarmed, so the tenant has the added protection of an alarm on their individual unit. They have 25 video cameras monitoring the property for added security. There is also a Manager, Quita Lee, that lives on the property for even more security.

All of their self-storage units have 10 foot ceilings and they have a 10 percent discount for military personnel, senior citizens, and Rose State College students. Tinker Self Storage also has a special starting in March of 2017 where a new tenant can get 3 months free with a 1 year contract for their self-storage unit.

Tinker Self Storage also has an abundance of 10’x20′ self-storage units, which Quita says is great for a family that wants to clean out their garage so they have room to put one or both of their cars in the garage instead of household items that tend to take up space in most garages. A 10’x20′ self-storage space is roughly equivalent to a one car garage.

Quita is already working with the City of Midwest City to adjust the signage from their facility to help improve visibility of drive by traffic on S. Douglas Boulevard.

Customers and current employees are invited to send their messages of congratulations and welcome to the new Manager via the website: http://www.tinkerselfstorage.com/contact-us/.
