Tim King author of Blueprint for Growth-21 Transformational steps to help the church grow to its full potential, is pleased to announce the publication of his brand new book Turn this Church Around!- Intentional Leadership for Church Growth.

This book believes that using a change process or re-engineering can radically change the church for the better. It takes business principles and successes and uses them in a church setting. The result can only be growth and success at every level. It has ideas and concepts that will help grow a vibrant, contemporary church that is Christ centred and people focused.

Those who have read the book agree that much of the inspirational content will help a church leader succeed:

“This book was very readable and useful for all churches including successful ones. I found it more of a work book where the leaders and pastors and congregations have a structured agenda with which to think through and discuss their present situation and any necessary changes. This book is an addition to his first book ‘Blue Print for Growth’ which outlines in detail clear strategies for change and revival. ‘Turn Your Church Around’s main strength is that it is easy to understand and avoids unnecessary controversy and arguments allowing the individual reader to use the book as a guide and inspiration.” P Troy.

“This is a book I could have done with 20 years ago. Taken as a personal leadership preparation study it could save many next generation leaders form the pain of first-hand mistakes that could be learned more efficiently and proactively, second-hand. Its incredible value lies in the author’s honest ability to highlight not only the valid and vital elements of a growing church but also the pitfalls that will undermine this. Not all such guides are as practical and honest as this. Many expected points are made such as the importance of clear vision and strategy, emotional intelligence and a leaders’ rounded and holistic wellbeing. However, there are others that are often be brushed under the carpet. Such as having essential good friends as senior leaders, managing excessive workload, effective delegation and allowing and celebrating time out for team members. I loved the high quality of the product too, which spoke volumes about Tim King’s attention to detail in every aspect of building the Kingdom.” G Scott.
