The Reading Ranch, an educational company that specializes in providing learning programs for children, has launched a reading and writing curriculum for third-grade children.
More information on the launch can be found by visiting https://www.readingranch.com/third-grade-struggling-readers
The launch is ideally suited to children in the third grade who are struggling with reading, and also provides support for children with literacy-related difficulties such as dyslexia. The company explains that the third grade is a critical time in a child’s academic development and can be a predictor of future success. They note that children with strong reading skills in the third grade are more likely to graduate high school and enroll in college.
The curriculum is currently available in a virtual learning format and includes a series of small group lessons that are interactive and delivered by trained teaching staff. As part of the launch, children will improve their reading, writing, and comprehension skills and develop a love for words. Children who struggle with spelling will learn sequential spelling techniques and receive instruction on phonology, sentence dictation, and sound production.
Alphabetizing lessons, vocabulary improvement, grammar instruction, editing lessons, and word usage lessons, as well as critical thinking analysis and written expression modules, are also included. The curriculum has been written and perfected by The Reading Ranch founder Dr Southwell and is currently available to study as an online learning program. Throughout the learning program, students will receive interactive, small group lessons which are delivered by a team of teachers and tutors who are fully trained. A wide selection of learning packages are available and interested parties are encouraged to visit the website to find the most suitable option for their child. Sample classes can be arranged.
The Reading Ranch is a tutorial center that provides literacy programs and has helped large numbers of students improve their reading, writing, and comprehension skills. The company recently received a Local Media Reader’s Choice Award.
