NSUKKA – The University of Nigeria Nsukka introduces online MBA program.
Nsukka, Enugu, Oct. 2, 2018 – The University of Nigeria Nsukka, ranked one of the top twenty-eight universities in Africa, and the top three universities in Nigeria in the 2019 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, has announced the introduction of their online MBA program with degree options in Management, Accounting, Marketing, Banking and Finance, through their Centre for Distance and e-Learning.
Since its inception, the University has been in the fore front of academic excellence. Over the years, the institution has gone all out to ensure that it maintains the standard of quality education obtainable by introducing programs that are relevant to the academic and personal development of its students. The introduction of an online MBA program is one of such.
According to the institution, the online MBA program is aimed at breaking down geographical barriers by allowing individuals learn from anywhere in the world without any form of constraints.
The MBA program has an eighteen (18) month duration which consists of two (2) sessions and four (4) semesters. It is required of interested candidates to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any field, not necessarily in business or any arts related course. However, provision has been made for candidates with non-Art related Bachelor’s Degree to take foundation courses during the program. This is deemed necessary as it gives them the opportunity and time to learn the basics of their course of interest so as to meet the University’s approved standard.
To defeat possible financial constraints that might discourage interested individuals, the university has made the payment of tuition fee flexible enough to accommodate student’s financial status. Payment can be made on a monthly, per semester or per session basis. Admitted students can also get N2000 off their first payment using the code ‘SPECIALOFFER’.
Application for the UNN MBA program will be done online. Interested candidates are to visit the institution’s Centre for Distance e-Learning portal on http://www.cdel.unn.edu.ng to apply. On the application portal, they are expected to pay an application fee, provide accurate personal details, qualifications and identity before submitting their application. Upon submission, their application will be reviewed by the University while they await confirmation. Provisional admission will only be given to applicants who pass this process.
