Chicago video production house, The Michael Group, joins forces with the DIY Network and Mr. T to produce a ‘smashin’ new home renovation show – I Pity The Tool – set to air in 2015.
Exciting news for both home renovators and video production in Chicago as Mr. T takes to the streets of his hometown together with The Michael Group to produce a dynamic new, celebrity driven, home renovation, television series.
After the recent success show Underground BBQ Challenge, The Michael Group is excited to be working on this new project with Mr. T. I Pity The Tool is bound to introduce an innovative step on the ladder of Chicago’s climbing video production industry. As television production specialists with both local and international credits,
The Michael Group will be key players in the video production and content creation of I Pity The Tool, together with the DIY Network and Mr. T. I Pity The Tool will follow Mr. T, and HGTV Design Star winner and interior designer Tiffany Brooks, as they work through Chicago armed with a tough yet tenderhearted approach to home renovation. Having worked on demolition jobs, and learning cabinet making and masonry, Mr. T and his iconic Mohawk will help revamp Chicago by destroying outmoded living spaces, breaking down walls and rebuilding beautifully remodeled homes for families who need them.
“Before I worked in show business, I worked in the demolition business,” said Mr. T. “And even after I made it in Hollywood, I kept on building things” Mr T says in a press release. “We’re hooking up homeowners who need help with their renovations,” said Mr. T. “I’m tired of all this jibber jabber—we’re out here getting things done, working hard, demolishing the old and rebuilding the new.”
