More information can be found on the novel’s website at: http://flameflower.wix.com/glossolalia-suspense.
The site explains that Tantra Bensko’s story focuses on the story of Nancy, who no one would hire because she has a habit of snapping out of amnesiac fugues, wondering where she got her bruises and the scent of men’s cologne.
However, when she sees a crime of poison in progress at the company, she decides to pursue the truck doing the illegal poisoning, loaded with a chemical seen as being too toxic to use or to dump. The chase leads her to a world of political intrigue, esoteric rituals and an arcane Elizabethan spy code and assassinations she never expected.
At its heart, the story is a conspiracy, introducing a young woman with an ambiguous past, involving herself in a killer organization. The Amazon listing explains that the old cartoonish formula of good CIA vs bad guys is no longer relevant. Through a fictionalized agency, Bensko’s books explore the shady side of CIA secret psy-ops, covert experiments and psychological warefare.
It goes on to say that the Agents of the Nevermind series explores the edgiest controversies and convoluted lives intelligence agents have to lead in order to hide the truth about their nation’s financial foundation. Fans of current sensations Stranger Things, Don’t Hug Me. I’m Scared, American Ultra and the Bourne series are particularly drawn to this book’s themes of mind control.
Interested parties will find a number of recommendations by existing authors on the site, including Richard Thomas, author of Disintegration and Breaker. He said: “Glossolalia is a 60-foot tall blender, set on high, with equal amounts Tom Robbins, Philip K. Dick, and Carlton Mellick III. In the shadow of the giant pink flamingo god, Bennu, the truth will be revealed. Buckle up.”
