The newly launched Goddess collection from Abyss by Abby is ideal as wedding attire and can be used to create party looks that are elegant yet festive. The new range combines classic and flattering silhouettes with bold, modern colors and fabrics to create garments that inspire feelings of power and beauty.
Abby Kheir launched Abyss with the intention of rejecting conventional gender norms in the fashion industry, instead encouraging women to be empowered their clothing choices. The new range at Abyss challenges women to be bold and stand out from the crowd. The new women-owned brand appeals to confident women who are not afraid to be the center of attention.
Kheir began opening fashion stores in 1999 in Sydney and originally sourced designs from other apparel designers, before identifying a gap in the industry. She noticed that the fashion industry lacked a range of high-quality, iconic, eye-catching dresses that allow women to feel sexually empowered.
Realizing this, Kheir taught herself the art of fashion design and is now the chief designer and CEO of her own international, boutique fashion label, with over 800k followers on Instagram. Kheir is now an internationally acclaimed designer who has worked with icons including Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger and Sofia Ritchie.
Kheir’s newly launched collection with Abyss includes the iconic Goddess dress, inspired by vintage Hollywood Glam, featuring a white plunging neckline and gold details. The exclusive launch event in LA was attended by fashion icons include Khloe Kardashian, Sofia Ritchie, Larsa Pippen and Madison Beer.
The full range of daring, high-fashion garments are available to browse on the Abyss website, including floor length dresses, gowns, bodysuits, skirts, and jackets.
A spokesperson for the company said “Women do not need to apologize for being the center attention, or wearing something that makes them stand out. If you’re not comfortable with a strong woman wearing an eye-catching dress, that’s your problem.”
