Victory Dancesport & Social Club, a popular and growing dance studio in Vancouver BC, announced today its official rebrand to Victory Dance Club effective immediately. In rebranding the studio, it is the owners’ hope that this will allow the business to grow its reputation in a way that fits its client base and future goals better. The re-brand signifies not just a change of name but also a change of focus from competitive dancesport to a broader range of dance classes offered, while still focusing highly on the social aspect of their community culture. Rumours are already starting to circulate among observers and die-hard fans within the dance world, as the dance studio starts to roll out their plans for a better system for dance competitors, social dancers and coaches in training.
Sarah Bohdanova, Owner at Victory Dance Club commented on the rebrand saying: “We’re thinking big. We see a few holes in the industry that we want to try and remedy. Vlad and I also have different backgrounds in our training. I think this gives us a competitive advantage over what is our there now. And the club we’d like to create takes the best from both worlds (social and competitive).”
The first thing folks should expect through taking dance classes at Victory Dance Club is a big improvement in quality of life and wellness. Victory Dance Club makes this happen by teaching dance in a way that improves physical health, emotional state, social skills and creates community. This is to be expected from a business that places this much value on helping their customers get the results they’re looking for.
Victory Dance Club has plans to disrupt the status quo in the local dance industry by becoming a studio that approaches coaching like a university and yacht club combined. The ‘university’ aspect will aim to attract competitors from all over the world to train in Vancouver with a facility that is inclusive of the needs of a latin and ballroom dance competitor. The ‘yacht club’ aspect of the studio aims to create a social community where members come for lessons and then proceed to enjoy the amenities at the facility from lounging at the coffee bar to getting a massage or spa treatments.
The studio currently operates out of Broadway Ballroom in central Vancouver BC but has plans to build its own facility with a luxurious spacious ambiance and ample parking at a convenient location. Details on when and where that will take place has yet to be announced.
