St John’s Wood estate agent: property values have fallen in the last 3 months

Property values in St John's Wood have decreased by more than 0.81% over the last three months, compared to property growth of 1.88% on average across the capital, St John's Wood estate agent Kubie Gold reveals.


Property values in St John’s Wood have decreased by more than 0.81% over the last three months, which compares with average property growth of 1.88% in London during the same period, St John’s Wood estate agent Kubie Gold reveals.


However, according to Zoopla’s Zed-Index, which is based on Zoopla’s current estimates, the average value of a semi-detached property in St John’s Wood is £4,572,138, while the London average is £737,515.

Figures from the Zoopla Zed-Index also show that the current average value of a detached property in St John’s Wood is £6,437,325, while the London average is £1,222,603. The price of a flat in St John’s Wood will set you back an average of £1,046,806. This compares to the London average for flats, which is £549,039.


These findings show that despite a general decrease in property values in St John’s Wood over the last three months, making it a good time for property buyers, the average value of different types of property have a higher value than the London equivalent.


St John’s Wood, NW8, is a recognised prime property hotspot. Located within the City of Westminster and the London Borough of Camden, St John’s Wood is an affluent area with a village-like atmosphere and a large number of detached, villa-style period houses.
