Iris eschews the complex equipment and setups generally used by professional photographers to use an iPhone for all her still portraits and moving image work. All jobs are prefaced with a detailed, hour-long consultation via Zoom to lay the foundations for the session and align goals for the shoot including style, location, and the ultimate purpose of the photographs. For example, images may be required for a website, a company magazine, LinkedIn profiles, or press work.

Revered Hollywood director Steven Soderbergh has used the iPhone to create two acclaimed films while the IPP awards now recognize the outstanding pieces shot by photographers using Apple's flagship mobile device.
Using this minimal technology decreases overhead costs and enables FOKUS CLIP to pass on savings to clients. Day rates are 2300 CHF for group shots and one to two portraits per employee with any additional half days charged at 900 CHF.
Iris says, “I take half a day for group photos and to portray each employee individually (for up to 15 employees - for larger companies we estimate a longer shooting time). The photos can be taken at the workplace or a location of your choice. I capture each individual's personality and highlight their special features.”
Iris delivers edited, full-resolution images with clients also receiving comprehensive usage rights so the photos can be used for other purposes.
In addition to her skills in professional photography, Iris is also a trained industrial and organizational psychologist. She has worked as a user experience consultant for major companies such as IBM, Mercedes, Coop@home, Hälg, Helvetia, and Credit Suisse. This experience lends her photography a unique perspective while her understanding of personality and psychology enables her to set people at ease.
