Stephanie Hart, owner of South Side’s of Brown Sugar Bakery, has expanded her business with the addition of Suburban Drops – a new home delivery service available in select neighborhoods every Thursday.

The expanded Suburban Drops feature means that customers who do not live near her locations on Chicago’s South Side or Navy Pier in Chicago’s Near North can now pick up their sweets at the drop location, or have them delivered.
For the month of July, the bakery has announced four Suburban Drops locations: La Grange, Oak Brook, Long Grove, and Lake Zurich. Dates and locations for Suburban Drops can be found at https://www.instagram.com/brownsugarbakeries
Brown Sugar Bakery has also recently added cholates to its menu with the purchase of Cupid Candies Factory, a Chicago favorite since 1936 for its hand-crafted chocolates.
The bakery still continues to sell its signature cake slices and cupcakes. This includes the best-selling caramel and coconut, cream cheese, double chocolate, and lemon. Other popular choices are sweet potato pie, key lime pie, and cobblers in apple, peach, pear, and sweet potato.
Customers can order cake slices and cupcakes for immediate eating at the bakery, or they can pick up online orders Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM. Full cakes need to be ordered in advance and nationwide shipping is available.
