Song Called “BODY” About Dilemma of Make-Up Sex Ignites Viral Voting Phenomenon

Fans of Paige Howell rally strongly with their votes to keep her song BODY about the dilemma of make-up sex in the top spot on the Alive with Clive Playlist on Spotify

After people fall in love, some go on to enjoy enduring relationships that thrive, while others realize they don’t belong together, and break up.

For some who break up, though, the irresistible physical attraction felt at the start of the relationship remains, and they go on to be faced with the dilemma of whether to succumb to temptation and hook up again, or to listen to their internal voice of reason and resist.

The song, BODY, by dynamic and invigorating singer-songwriter, Paige Howell, is for those who face this dilemma, and – thanks to a unique combination of factors that can never be imitated or duplicated — it has ignited a viral voting phenomenon on the leaderboard to determine the song to be featured at the top of the Alive with Clive Playlist on Spotify.

“The intensity of voting for BODY in recent days has been both surprising and awe-inspiring,” says Clive Swersky, Host and Producer of Alive with Clive, The TV Show Where Today’s Top Singer-Songwriters Thrive, and creator of the Alive with Clive Playlist on Spotify, adding: “It’s a testament to the strong connection Paige has with her fans and their desire to see her blossoming music career flourish.”

Distinguishable for her vivacious personality, charismatic demeanor and striking natural beauty, Paige – currently a contender to be the Opening Act at the Hollywood Bowl at a concert to be presented by Audacy — is a singer-songwriter with all the qualities necessary to captivate throngs of adoring crowds at major concerts and music festivals, and BODY is a song performed with such conviction and aplomb that it would not be out of place at the top of a chart like 9 At 9 presented by iHeart Radio’s Z100, New York’s #1 Hit Music Station.

The leaderboard for the Alive with Clive Playlist on Spotify records the votes for songs on the Playlist through the voting system recently launched for the Playlist.

The leaderboard for the Playlist is updated immediately after votes are cast at https://alivewithclive.tv/vote, and the actual order of the Playlist on Spotify is updated at regular intervals to reflect the votes for the songs.

The voting system was launched by Clive Swersky to enable new songs by singer-songwriters who’ve been featured on the show to receive additional exposure and not be overshadowed by the 60,000 new songs uploaded to Spotify every day.

From 2007 through 2019, of the 340 singer-songwriters who appeared on the show, the top new songs by just over 50 singer-songwriters who’ve gone on to release more songs have been added to the Playlist, and there are now more than 140 songs on the Playlist.

The voting system for the Playlist was launched in June, 2021, to determine the songs to be placed at the top of the Playlist and to be given the most exposure on social media.

In addition, the cover images for the four songs that receive the most votes are placed in the coveted Featured Image for the Playlist, which is also updated at regular intervals to reward recent vote getters.

After the first few weeks of voting, BODY by Paige Howell had received the most votes and was firmly entrenched at the top of the leaderboard until an avalanche of votes suddenly emerged for the song “X” by aReJay Ella.

The challenge galvanized the fans of Paige Howell into action, and soon the votes for BODY began to increase exponentially, giving BODY a substantial lead in the top spot on the leaderboard.
