Cool Relief’s expanded range of soft gel ice and heat wraps provides athletes with more cold and hot therapy options for knee injuries. The soft gel wraps are particularly helpful to soccer players recovering from knee arthroscopy.

Given the nature of the game, it’s no surprise that lower limb injuries are the most common injuries soccer players sustain. Research shows that they account for about 60% of all soccer-related injuries. Knee injuries, in particular, constitute roughly 40% of lower limb soccer-related injuries, with 20% being deemed “severe,” such as ACL and meniscus tears.
One of the key components in treating and recovering from knee injuries is cold therapy. Cold therapy helps decrease blood flow, which, in turn, alleviates pain, reduces swelling and inflammation, and helps restore movement. Cool Relief offers three different cold therapy soft gel wraps for treating knee injuries—the Knee Soft Gel Ice Pack, Large Soft Gel Pack for Knee 360° Coverage, and Athletic Knee Ice Pack Wrap.
The standard Knee Soft Gel Ice Pack is lightweight and targets the area around the knee. The Large Soft Gel Pack for Knee 360° Coverage has the same cooling qualities as the standard, but it’s larger and offers full 360° targeting of the knee. The Athletic Knee Ice Pack Wrap is the largest option and provides medial to lateral coverage of the knee for up to 2 hours.
All three options utilize Cool Relief’s ice pack technology, which is a combination of inner ice and soft flexible gel formulated to stay cold for longer. The gel packs are reusable, and can also be heated in the microwave and used as heat wraps.
“I recently had arthroscopic surgery and the pain in the weeks following was a little more than I was expecting,” said a satisfied customer. “Thankfully, I was able to throw on the Knee Soft Gel Ice Pack from Cool Relief and it helped alleviate a lot of the pain.”
