DeXT Pte Ltd has recently updated its digital marketing service that aims to help local small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore get access to Enterprise development grant (EDG). Enterprise Singapore is offering a grant called the Enterprise Development Grant or EDG that can fund up to seventy percent of the cost for businesses that have been affected by the pandemic and need to transition online.

The recently updated service aims to provide consultancy for Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to claim for the EDG. It also seeks to equip these enterprises with the tools necessary to successfully transition their businesses to an online space.
Qualifying for the EDG requires an SME to meet three criteria.
The first is that the company must be registered and operating in Singapore. Secondly, they must have a minimum of thirty percent local shareholding, and thirdly, they must be in a financially viable position to start and complete the project.
After these criteria are met, the company seeks to help SMEs develop their Core Capabilities, Innovation and Productivity, and Market Access.
Core capabilities are a group of principles that help businesses to prepare for growth and transformation by strengthening their foundations.
