Slide out shelves are shelves that are installed that enables an individual to grab items from shelves without having to reach and stretch.
Don Childress, the owner of Sherwood Enterprises stated “I had some friends who were buying a house and they looked at one house that had slide out shelves installed and they couldn’t stop talking about them and how no matter what house they bought they planned to install slide out shelves in their new home. I did some checking and saw how expensive they were and I felt I could offer a better quality at a lower price. I also felt there was a real need in the Oklahoma City area and that has proven to be accurate. We have been getting orders steadily.”
Slide out shelves are great for anybody but they seem to be a great tool for senior citizens and the disabled. They cause a lot less wear and tear on the body, from not having to bend and reach.
