ServiceBox Launches New Update for Field Service Management Software

Admins of this work order software are able to input events into a calendar and specify the duration and employee attendance. The “Scheduled Events” feature allows users to classify events by title, description, attendees, start to end period, and repetition. Non-recurring events can be deleted normally, but for recurring events, users will be prompted to delete either that specific event or all instances of that event.

Now, users can also create a calendar link optimized to open on other devices without complication. This means that ServiceBox’s systematized user experience can be conveniently accessed from anywhere. From the optimized link, the shared calendar can be opened in an external calendar program (e.g. Outlook, iCal, Google Calendar)

The job costing feature makes it possible to produce a spreadsheet that compares the actual cost of a work order to the amount that work order was quoted for. Additional input slots allow users to factor in expenses like labor, materials, and purchase orders. The excel sheet can be downloaded directly from ServiceBox, and users can adjust and finalize prices once downloaded.

ServiceBox also introduced a feature that filters the calendar view by all users or current users. The mobile calendar has a new weekly view addition that provides users with an overview of the week’s work.

This update includes several small features including the option to create an invoice report, a fix for image sizing when printing and more.
