-- Special Interest Marketing & Advertising Inc. (SIMAA) has announced the expansion of its print media distribution network to 14 routes across the San Francisco Bay Area. SIMAA's updated distribution network now includes dedicated campus routes serving educational institutions, including San Francisco and Marin Counties in the West Bay, East Bay’s Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, and San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties in the South Bay area. “These campus-specific routes are where both students and professionals congregate, perfect for those looking to catch the attention of a younger demographic,” a spokesperson for the company said.
Commonly seen along these routes are coffee houses, juice bars, bookstores, restaurants, libraries, community centers, health clubs, music stores, and other community gathering spots.
The company specializes in the delivery and distribution of different kinds of print materials, such as posters, brochures, flyers, postcards, catalogs, and calendars through multiple methods. Clients can choose between door-to-door delivery, hand-to-hand distribution, or stack drops, and instructions can be given to the team prior to distribution.
SIMAA has worked with clients promoting local businesses, services, and various events, including festivals, concerts, and art exhibitions, among others.
Over its 25-year history, SIMAA has built strong relationships with store owners and businesses along its routes. “These hard-earned connections have set us apart, as they are what’s given us the opportunity to distribute materials in the most desirable locations in the Bay Area,” its spokesperson said.
For Bay Area-wide campaigns, the company offers both standard and high-density distribution options. Clients can select specific geographic areas or opt for comprehensive coverage across multiple routes.
Despite the dominance of online advertising channels, SIMAA said that businesses and event organizers still include street-level advertising in their advertising mix. Some studies support this move, including one from the Data and Marketing Association in 2022, which found that 89% of respondents reported remembering receiving a door drop mailing and that under-35s consume the contents of these materials more than other demographic groups.
“For a younger crowd, receiving a crisp-looking flyer nowadays is a unique experience; that’s what makes it memorable,” SIMAA’s representative said.
